There’s history in them there hills. This would be an excellent cache in trash out project. This cache is located down a lonely country road. Your best bet is to do this during the day and with a friend, (especially a big one). If you hear banjos playing… run!
This med bottle cache is located in a historic grave site that up until May of 2010 has been all but forgotten. Prior to May, there have been numerous attacks by vandals destroying much of the memory of those that remain here. I discovered this graveyard years ago when I owned the property that bordered this site. The goal of this cache is to bring attention to the needs of the many local cemeteries in desperate need of TLC. If we are going to waste valuable property by burying dead people there, we should at least take care of it.
Out of respect for the burried and/or their loved ones the cache is not on or around the graves, instead it can be found at the base of a nearby corner post.
