I'd say it's not worth coming JUST for the cache. But if you are already coming or just want to check out the town, give it a shot. It's up on the butte that the town was nicknamed for. (the real name is Puerto Peñasco FYI) To get to it, follow the road that runs parallel to the beach near Playa de Oro RV park, Manny's Beach Club and The Pink Cadillac toward the mountain. You can take the road up the mountain if you want but I don't recommend it. I suggest that you park at Baja Cantina. There's not much up there for a car anyway. The cache is a small ammo can. If you need a place to stay and aren't familiar with Rocky Point I recommend Playa Elegante RV Park. I've been going there for twelve years now and it's still clean and inexpensive (about $17/day). They have showers at the office if you just want to bring a tent. It's the southern-most RV Park on the road I described above (about 3/4 of a mile from the cache). Anyways, next trip down throw your GPS in the bag to go!
