Geocache Description:

What is Cache to Eagle? Cache to Eagle is a series of public geocaches hidden at or near the sites of Boy Scout Eagle projects to highlight their service to the community.

There are 39 astronauts who have obtained the rank of Eagle Scout. Neil A. Armstrong and Charles M. Duke Jr. are the only Eagle Scouts to walk on the moon…so far.

Reaching the rank of Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America requires years of dedication and hard work. In addition to the 90-plus requirements and 21 merit badges, each Scout must complete a project that requires countless hours of planning, dedicated leadership, and commitment for their community, religious institution or school.

This cache highlights the work of an Eagle Scout from Troop 106 of St. Cloud, MN.

All of the landscaping around the Gorecki Guest House as well as the flag pole installation was completed in June of 2009.

More then 100 hours of service was given to the community in this project.

Please bring your own writing utensil.
