Geocache Description:

This cache is a 35mm film pot placed at ground level.

The cache is located near the remains of Hoad's Mill.
The roundhouse was probably built in 1735.
The mill collapsed in 1965.
The remnants of the trestle were removed in 2009.

The drawing made by L. S. Lowry in 1960 can be seen in the Bexhill Museum - located just north of the Clock Tower (Bexhill Seafront) cache.

UPDATE: Whilst, having checked with HM Land Registry, the Mill and the surrounding grassed area are privately owned, but not by any of the residents, sadly, there has been a complaint by a local that there is / was a geocache beside the mill.
I have therefore moved it to a location along the nearby public footpath.

The good news is that there is a lovely pond opposite the new location.
A pond that I would never have known about without geocaching.
