Geocache Description:

An easy cache near the centre of Kirkwall. Stealth is required as this area can be very busy!!

The Peedie Sea (also called the Peerie Sea) is a great place for birdwatching particularly during and after winter storms when birds gather in abundance.

A pleasant way to spend half an hour wandering around the Peedie Sea and the adjacent paths. Be careful when walking around it as it can be very slippery!

The attached webpage photograph shows how this part of Kirkwall has changed over nearly 90 years!

The cache is a 35mm film canister with log and pencil.
