A geocache dedicated to a Boston Celtic great: Tom Heinsohn. Heinsohn was an 8 time NBA champion, 6 time all-star and was elected into the Hall of Fame. He is a true Celtic and still one of their biggest fans.
The cache is a 30 oz. lock-n-lock painted Celtics green. It is located on the upper end of the Little River Hiking Trail and the trail is well maintained and easy to follow. The start of the trail can be located at N 44*24.925, W 069*01.259 and parking is plentiful at the Walsh Baseball Field parking lot, where the trail starts. BANKCACHE (GC1BJW3) is located nearby, a little further down the trail from here.
If you are feeling very energetic, there are currently 6 other caches also on this trail, but they can be reached from different starting points for those who want to break up the hike.
