Located at the bridge connecting the islands of Nord-Talgje and
Tjul of the Sjernarøyane archipelago. The bridge had its official
opening on 11 May 2010, and, like pearls on a string, seven
inhabited islands/islets can now be visited without having to enter
a boat. Only the island of Nord-Hidle remains disconnected. The
Google map or your GPS maps may not be updated, don't worry, the
cache is easily accessible by car.
The cache is in a Fishermans Friend tin container. Small, contains
a simple log book and a pencil. Will have space for one geocoin or
similar items.
You can park your car in a park nearby, the park provides picnic
benches and toilet facilities, as well as a small quay.
An article from the opening of the bridge can be found in
Stavanger
Aftenblad (Norwegian).
