Geocache Description:

This is a traditional small cache hidden in a popular area. Stealth
a must! Cache is to high light the parks at the entry of Albury.
Families love to picnic under the canopies of the trees, sip coffee
at the River Deck café and play/swim at the waters edge. Cache is
small and you will need to bring a pen.

Albury's Noreuil Park on the banks of the Murray River is one of
the city's most popular destinations. This park is Albury City's
vision to create a stunning southern gateway and to re-connect the
city with the Murray River beginning to take shape and envisaged to
be completed in the next few months along with the upgrade and
transformation of Albury's riverside parks. The centrepiece will be
a children's adventure play space. Landscape Architect’s drew
inspiration from the surrounding river environment and history of
the area to develop the play and explore space. Features include
the planting of trees and shrubs to create tunnels and a natural
cubby space, a small amphitheatre for creative play, a large
climbing net, an observation deck, ramps and stairs and a giant
flying fox. The playground is designed for all children with
features to stimulate physical, social and imaginative play
experiences. Not forgetting the big kids at heart. Fully
landscaped, the area will have a strong focus on accessibility with
pathways linking throughout the park through to the Murray River
Trail (Hume and Hovel). This park will be a huge attraction for
travellers, visitors and local families. It will be one of the
first features that people see as they cross the border into
Albury. This park hosts a wide variety of amenities for families
with BBQ’s, toilets, play equipment, tables and chairs.
