The cache is near the three old windmills of Manara set above the the village of Karabag, which in turns sits above the town of Turgutreis. Karabag is to the south and east of Turgutreis by a few kilometers..
The windmills, approx, 265m elevation, are visible from the town and are accessible by car or on foot. By road, take Amiral Turgut Caddesi (Caddesi = road) the road from the Opet petrol station all the way up the hill, bear right past the Hawthorn Hotel on the left, keep climbing up the brick paved road, pass the road to the right into the village centre and just keep going, eventually you will see a road to your right, sharp turn back on yourself with a sign on a white wall showing the route to the Bayrak Tepesi' (Flag pole hill). The road to the windmills turns into a gravel one after about half a kilometre, it is passable in dry weather, not to be attemped by car after heavy rain however.
Continue climbing and bear left at each fork in the road once on the gravel, the second on the right takes you to the Flag Pole over looking the sea, and is worth a visit afterwards.
You will see the windmills clearly and you can park on the road below them, a well trodden paths lead you to the windmills. The cache is set in a large boulders beyond all three wind mills.
