Quick C&D. Groundspeak took away benchmark logging, but there is one close to here if you’re interested in seeing it. You’re looking for an ammo can. Originally, this was a level three difficulty hide, but didn't meet Groundspeak guidelines. Now that the cache meets guidelines, I don't want to mess up previous finders' stats by changing the D/T on the page. Have fun!
The Indian name for the Spanish Peaks is 'Wahatoya'. This is a place you can stop for a little while for reflection and prayer. Please be respectful of others who have stopped here to pray. Lady Fun likes to keep toys stocked for the kiddos. Take a toy, you don’t have to leave a trade item if you don’t have one. Thank you! .... Worth mentioning is nearby Lathrop State Park along US 160. Lathrop State Park, part of the Colorado State Park system, offers full hookup camping in the summer, boating, fishing, hiking, golf, and GEOCACHING! There are a number of great caches and activities at Lathrop worth the entrance fee.
