palmetto: What's present here is a throwdown, not per coords or hint, and no cache owner. I think it's time to say good bye.
Thanks for the fun

Deep Purple was a somewhat popular rock band in the early 1970s, almost entirely because of one song called 'Smoke on the Water' that was played so often on the radio, at dances and in bars, that a pretty good song with nice guitar because annoying. I think another of their songs, 'Race Car.' actually was better, but it never built that kind of momentum.
The lead singer, Richy Blackmore, went on to create a band called 'Rainbow' that never had quite the success of Deep Purple.
That's about the extent of my personal memory. If you know other anecdotes, please post with your log -- but don't search the web for information that is not first hand. Come on you fellow old timers! Do you remember these guys?
OK, onto the cache.
The container is absolutely not camo -- in fact it matches the name of the band. A purple container in a wooded area -- how hard can that be ??
The difficulty and terrain may be higher than necessary, however, to reach the cache you will encounter some tricky holes in the ground, a minor rock scramble, nasty vines that will tear up your legs of not wearing shorts and the ultimate guardian -- a huge banana spider in a web blocking your entry to the hiding spot.
Have fun !
