1910 anställde ångbåtsbolaget (Se cache GC1K7WH Isas brygga) en ny maskinist, Anton Johansson och denne fick sin tjänstebostad i en stuga som låg vid skogsbrynet vid Alfsgårdsvägen strax nedanför Sätila kyrka.
Efter ett år i denna provisoriska bostad fick Anton och hans familj flytta stugan ner till Sätila Sand.
Den försågs då med trägolv, innertak och mellanvägg. Vidare byggdes en murstock och en vedspis installerades i köket och en kamin i rummet intill.
Familjen var stor och som mest bodde det 9 personer i stugan.
Omkring 1930 byggdes stugan till med förstuga och därefter tillkom brygghuset med inbyggd brunn och pump och till sist byggdes vedboden.
Brunnen sinade i samband med att kommunen drog fram vatten och avlopp längs med Strandvägen. Kommunen drog då in kommunalt vatten till stugan som kompensation och plåster på såren.
Antons son Oskar och hans hustru Hedvig var de sista som bodde i stugan. När Oskar dog 1990 tog Sätila hembyggdsförening över arrendet av tomten och stugan och man lägger årligen ner mycket arbete och tid för att bevara den. Här bedriver man sommarcafé och vill man svalka sig kan man göra det vid den underbara sandstranden vid Lygnern 50 m bort.

In 1910 the local steamboat company employed a new machinist. His name was Anton Johansson. With his employment came a small cabin near the edge of the forrest beside the church.
After living in this temporary lodge for one year, Anton and his family moved the cabin down by the lake at Sätila Sand (Beach of Sätila). They built a wooden floor, roof and and a wall in the cabin to separete the kitchen from the other room. They also got a wood stove and a fireplace.
The family was big. At most there were living 9 people in the small cabin.
At 1930 the cabin got a new entrance and after that they built the washhouse with built-in well and pump. At last they built the woodshed.
The well dried up when the municipality installed drinking water and sanitation in the area. Anton and his family got the water installation for free as compensation.
Oskar, the son of Anton, and his wife Hedvig were the last ones living in the cabin. When Oskar died in 1990, the local history association took over the ownership and they try to perserve and maintain the buildings. In summertime they run a café and you can have a nice swim in the neaarby lake Lygnern or just enjoy the beautifull views at the beach.
