Geocache Description:

Park in the lot off HWY 92 for the Leita Thompson Memorial Garden. Follow the trail for just a little bit and you'll be looking for a camo Sterilite container not too far off the trail. It's easy enough to bring a dog or two along, of course! Please note that the park closes at dark; happy hunting!

Sofie June is our sweet Basset Hound girl who loves to go adventuring with her people and has recently picked up geocaching. She loves it, and I wanted to dedicate a cache to all the other geopups who do as well; we gathered up a few great pieces of dog stuff to make a great hunt for them and their owners to enjoy, too.
This cache is located a quick walk away from Sofie's favorite dog park, so be sure to check that out while you're there. If you park by the garden and continue on the same trail the cache is on, you'll find the dog run (and a beautiful field great for picnicking) in no time.

The cache includes a few new dog toys and some other misc. dog items as well as a FTF "Cache Hound" dog tag. In keeping with the purpose of the cache, we ask that you please leave dog stuff if you trade (our furry friends deserve swag too, right?).
