Geocache Description:

On June 21, 2010, Scarlett and I finally achieved one of our long time goals by finding over 100 caches in one day while visiting our friend Vater Araignee in the suburbs of Detroit, MI. Even though it was dark when we found #100, we felt we had to get one more "to grow on". That brings us to this challenge cache! In order to claim a find on this cache, you must have FOUND and LOGGED 101 geocaches in one calender day. Below are the rules for the cache:

PLEASE READ!!

1) This cache IS located at the posted coordinates

2) All caches counting toward your 101 finds must be active geocaches (at the time you found them) and listed on geocaching.com

3) You must complete the requirements for this cache on or after June 21, 2010 (no resting on your past laurels, besides it makes it more fun for me)

4) You must supply a bookmark list of the caches that you found to quailfy for logging this cache. Be sure to add this cache to that bookmark list as well.

5) In your online log entry, tell us about your big day caching. Bragging and telling lies are permitted.

6) You can not search out the physical cache and sign the physical log prior to completing the requirements outlined here.

ABOUT THE ACTUAL CACHE

The difficulty of the actual cache is much closer to a 1.5 rather than a 5 star rating. The 5 stars are solely for the difficulty in accomplishing the requirements of the cache. I understand that to some of the local expert cachers, 101 caches in a day may be a piece of cake. To us mere mortals, its tough. I'm being a little generous with the terrain rating here but not much. Depending on how you choose to approach the cache, you could turn this into a 4 terrain pretty easily. Take the easy route. After you spend a day jumping in and out of a car doing the Chinese Fire Drill, I thought I would give you the opportunity to stretch your legs here just a bit. You are searching for an ammo can hidden in a very traditional way. Coords were averaged 200 times but with the tree cover here, do not expect them to be perfect. Its not a hard find. I've stocked the cache with a good variety of items to start, please don't forget to trade if you choose to take something (its becoming a lost art). Above all else, have fun! And as always use your own geocaching common sense at all times.
