Geocache Description:

An easy cache on the shore on the east side of Burray.

This is a super location and a lovely beach to wander along in either direction from the cache following the short walk from the cemetery car park.

Whilst this cache was being laid the owners counted over 50 seals lying up on the shoreline at low tide, a great sight.

Fine views across Holm Sound towards the East Mainland of Orkney with the monument at Roseness being the obvious point of interest. Another great place to watch the sea on stormy winter days.

The cache is a 35mm film canister with log and pencil.
