Geocache Description:

This cache is placed within Blengdale Forest at Gosforth. There is parking available but please be aware it is a very narrow windy road out of the village to the car park.

This cache is placed at a fork in the road, if you wander upwards you will come to open views of the nearby fells & once there if you ventured right you will get some lovely coastal views on a nice day. It is a child friendly walk. Blengdale is popular with dog walkers, horse riders, fell runners & those of us without dogs. It is also midgey hell when the weather is in their favour !!
The cache is a Turtle type container with some log paper & pencils.
This cache has been placed with permission from the North West Forestry Commission, please respect the environment & take your litter home.
