Blengdale Forest is on the outskirts of Gosforth Village down a narrow, windy road so please drive carefully where car parking is available.
This cache is placed at a point where you can either carry on up to Scalderscew or you can follow the zig zag path down to the river where the new bridge is in situ. It is a tub style container with some log paper & pencils.
This is an area popular with horse riders, fell runners, dog walkers & non dog walkers plus when the weathers right it’s an airborne insect heaven so be warned. It is a child friendly route along forest tracks.The cache has been placed with permission from the North West Forestry Commission so please don’t leave any litter.
