This cache is placed within Blengdale Forest on the outskirts of Gosforth Village. Access to the car park is via a windy, narrow road so please drive carefully.
This cache is close to the path alongside the River Bleng with the chance to have a sit down, depending on the river flow any Geohounds may be able to have a wee splash about at this location. The container is small, cylindrical & waterproof containing some log paper & pencils.Blengdale Forest is popular with fell runners, horse riders & walkers with or without dogs. This series of caches is child friendly but prams will need lifted in area’s. There is also likely to be bothersome midges in the summer months so be warned.
This cache has been placed with permission from the North West Forestry Commission so please don’t leave any litter behind.
