Geocache Description:

This is an ammo can placed just outside the Limon Municipal Airport (callsign KLIC). It's meant to be equally accessible for pilots and travelers alike.

This cache celebrates two of my favorite hobbies: caching and flying. I often fly to Limon from my home airport of Centennial. It is a relatively short flight without much traffic. It is especially fun during a full moon. Limon is a nice place to practice touch & goes, but you must be on your game as it has a relatively short and narrow runway (by Colorado standards.)

This aviation themed cache is a relatively easy find. It is located just off I-70 (or just off the Quail Five arrival for pilots). The cache is just outside of the airport grounds. You may park either on the highway or just inside the airport (on the tarmac for pilots).

There are many flying items within, including an airplane log that serves as the cache register. Feel free to trade all items but the log. If you flew in, please include your "N" number in the cache log.

I also populated the cache with a terrific custom geocoin of a fellow pilot. Its mission is to visit small airports. This coin was the inspiration of this cache. My apologies to its owner as I have held this coin much too long (though it has logged miles while in my possession). I now release it to the great blue yonder.

The cache's initial contents are:

- Many charts, an old flying magazine.
- Team Ace Personal Geocoin

Please place your TB's here for distribution.
