Geocache Description:

This cache is named after the many bugs we encountered while hiding it. BE SURE TO BRING BUG SPRAY (which we, foolishly, did not the first time! Our return trip was much more comfortable with spray.)       Parking coords are below. Cache available during daylight hours only.

Enjoy approximately 2 miles on a round trip hike through the Leo Yelle Conservation Area in Norton. (While here, be sure to grab "Yelle Out Loud", GC29BGB, the other cache in the area) You'll cross a couple of nice wooden bridges along the way. The trail is wider in some spots and quite narrow in others. It's mostly clear but there are a few small spots where it may be necessary to step over small logs, branches or briars. There will most likely be muddy spots during the wet seasons. The area is maintained by the Norton Conservation Commission. The path extends beyond the Yelle Area into the Smith Farm land, a parcel held by the Norton Historical Society.

The cache is small. We've started it out with a few trackables, a micro container, and some other small items. FTF prize is a new, unregistered set of TB tags. PLEASE REMOVE CACHE CAREFULLY FROM ITS HIDING SPOT AND REEPLACE CACHE EXACTLY AS FOUND! GPS accuracy on 2 trips to the cache was 25ft.

Parking for 1-2 cars and trailhead are located on Freeman Street (coords below). It's a residential neighborhood, with the Conservation area located between two houses - it's easy to just drive right by! Alternate parking and trailhead to Smith Farm can be found at the end of Great Woods Circle. However, we have not tested this path so can't speak to the conditions of the trails if approached from this direction. PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL OF THE NEIGHBORS AND ONLY SEARCH FOR THIS ONE DURING DAYLIGHT HOURS. THANKS!
