A beautiful spot on the western shore of San Juan Island, overlooking Haro Straits and Vancouver Island. Just south of Lime Kiln Park and Deadman's Bay. If you're lucky, you might see some orcas!
Park on vehicle pullout just off West Side Rd at N48 30.389, W123 08.436. Take a short (200-300 yard) walk down the public trail to the rocky shore.
When you're done finding the cache, look east up the hill to the high ridge several hundred feet of elevation above the parking waypoint -- you'll see a huge house overlooking the straits. Local (and unconfirmed) legend has it that actress Sandra Bullock stayed in the house while shooting the film "Practical Magic" -- getting the rental by dispatching her agent to make the home owner an "offer they couldn't refuse" ($$).
