Geocaching is often refereed to as a "High Tech Scavenger Hunt". This cache is a salute to the traditional Scavenger hunt.

This cache involves some traveling, so be prepared!
The Idea:
Geocaching has brought us to so many great locations in Moncton that we may not have ever found without this great game. Some are fun and quirky, while some are solemn and reflective. Some are beautiful and inspiring, while some seem out of place and make you do a double-take. You can probably look through a list of your cache finds and remember something, or several things, special about most of the locations caching has taken you to.

Parmi ceux-ci : quelques endroits amusants et excentriques, dautres, tranquilles et méditatifs, des lieux superbes et inspirants, et dautres qui feront jaser. En jetant un coup dSil à vos trésors, vous vous remémorerez les endroits où vous les avez trouvés.
The Hunt:
The location specified by the listed coordinates is only the starting point. They are the coordinates of a container that contains a list of data needed to be collected to claim the final prize, an official Tourism Moncton Geocoin.

Requirements for the Coin:
If you don't want the Geocoin (but honestly, who wouldn't want free swag!) all you need to do is go to the initial location and log the cache with the provided log book.
To obtain your "Limited Edition Geocoin", you will need to present your completed "Scavenger Hunt game sheet" to the Visitor Information Center (VIC), at Bore Park on Main Street, (N 46 05.368 x W 064 46.270). Front Desk, City Hall, Moncton, New Brunswick., Upon verification of the data, you will be presented with your Geocoin!
This Cache was created by the Maritime Geocaching Association and Tourism Moncton to celebrate the vast selection of attractions in the area. This geocache will take you to some of the truly "Hidden Gems" of the area.

Si vous ne voulez pas la pièce souvenir (mais vraiment, qui refuserait un cadeau gratuit!), il vous suffit de vous rendre à lemplacement initial et de consigner la géocache dans le journal de bord qui sy trouve.
