Geocache Description:


Trees of Alabama Series: Ash - (Fraxinus pennsylvanica Oleaceae ). Deciduous hardwood found commonly in all regions of Alabama on moist well drained soils. I was not sure if this tree was a Green Ash or a White Ash. The hard wood of an Ash is used for handles, baseball bats, furniture and crates. There is a picture of a Green Ash it's leaves on the cache log. The container is a small camoed Lock-N-Lock. Please return and rehide cache as found
