River Ayr Walk runs alongside the River Ayr from it's source at Glenbuck. The river reaches the sea at Ayr a distance of around 42 miles
This cahe is beside a section of the walk between Haugh Farm and Ballochmyle
Parkin is at N55 29.924 W004 22.796
This cache is placed on the side of a sandstone cliff. Its a trickier one to reach.
The path splits at N55 29.941 W004 22.429
Cross the fence to go to the GZ
The high level walk which stays above the cliffs and away from the river. follows the path
The low level walk - cross the fence here.this follows the river edge. this becomes blocked during floods, but in dry spell its the better choice as its more scenic. 2 caches are placed alongside the lower path
