While carrying out maintenance to the Redbourn Ramble series, we decided to add in a twelfth cache, on the route back to the starting point. The cache is a small sealable jar, in a black bag and contains a logbook and pencil only. Too small for a FTF certificate.
The series is a 5.3 km. circular walk south of the village of Redbourn. The walk is on well sign-posted footpaths, through predominantly farmed land. Some parts of the route can be muddy in damp conditions, which is not surprising for arable farmland. If you want to avoid the mud, try doing the series at frosty or dry times of the year.
There are some lovely views of the surrounding countryside.
