Geocache Description:

This is now a virtual cache because the container keeps disappearing or is repeatedly vandalized. Nevertheless, this is a really neat place that should be shared with the geocaching community. This virtual cache is in a city park next to a walking trail away from busy roadways and high muggle populations.

In the heart of present-day Bullhead City lies Ken Fovargue Park. A nice place that includes the community pool, ball fields, horseshoe pits, playground, basketball court, sand volleyball court, and a nature trail. Along the nature trail, is a historical marker indicating the location of a segment of the toll road that once connected Fort Mojave to Prescott. This was an important route for pioneer settlers migrating to the Lower Colorado River Basin and interior California. To get credit for this cache, email to me the time period in the 1800's when this historic road was used.
