Geocache Description:

A ford is a place in a watercourse (most commonly a stream or river) that is shallow enough to be crossed in a vehicle.

This cache is part of a series of caches, taking you to some of the fords on the Island.

This ford was made into an irish bridge about 20 years ago. The Druidale road is very popular for rally stages and there are also many pictures of scooter rallies using the water splash.

The cache is a micro cache capsule containing a rolled up log book, a (very) small pencil and a bear pin as a FTF.

There is ample parking available nearby.

Please take care at each of the cache sites as a number of them are on single track roads.
