Geocache Description:

This lovely park situated to the south west edge of Salisbury adjacent to the famous water meadows with excellent views of the Cathedral. The river Avon joins the river Nadder here with plenty of riverside walks. There is a children’s play area and also plenty of places just to sit down and enjoy the view. The ‘Town Path’ to Harnham is also accessible from here so you can enjoy a delightful amble across the water meadows.

NB: Following re-landscaping of the park this cache has moved to a new hiding place. Coordinates updated.

This park is about a 0.4 mile walk from Salisbury market place.

You are looking for a 35mm film sized camouflaged container with a log-book. Please remember to bring a pen or pencil so you can sign the log.

The cache is easily accessible from the park path and should be within easy reach of wheelchair users.

It can get quite busy near the cache so stealth will be required.

Please make sure that this cache is well hidden again afterwards.

The nearest Pay & Display parking available is at Crane Bridge Road car park N 51° 04.084 W 1° 47.996 or New Street multi-storey car park N 51° 04.032 W 001° 47.699 or even Central car park N 51° 04.320 W 001° 47.945. But I would recommend using one of the many Park & Ride areas on the outskirts of Salisbury.
