Geocache Description:

This is the first cache in the CABLE series (Camp Adair Building Locator Exercise). This was the field house. If you are interested in more Camp Adair facts and history, be sure to check out the Adair Living History "Related Web Page." The link is located on this cache page just below the difficulty and terrain rating.

This is the first of a series of caches that locate and identify some of the more unique (not barracks) building foundations from Camp Adair.  This was the field house for large events.  In John Baker's book, "Camp Adair", it is stated that there were three, full-sized, basketball courts in here. I am locating, and identifing as many of the buildings as possible for the Polk and Benton County Museums.
