Geocache Description:

cache is small plastic container with camo tape. It is located near the beach at Copper Falls State Park. depending on time of day and year stealth will be a requirement.

I have many memories of this beach. I learned how to swim here in the summers growing up. In high school we would throw the junior high cross country runners into the lake... and our coach too! The nearby trail head is actually the "Finnish Line" for the cross country meet (our coach was Finnish, so she always wrote an extra 'n' as a joke).
A segment of the North Country Trail connects the park to the city of Mellen right at the beach as well.
