Geocache Description:

A tour of part of the Bethpage State Park Bike Path from Linden St. in Massapequa Park to the north end near Bethpage State Park

WherigoBilder is proud to release our first Wherigo cache, which will take you on an adventure along part of the Bethpage State Park Bike Path. Connecting the Northern end of the Massapequa Preserve and the Southern end of the Bethpage State Park, this part of the path is always filled with active walkers, bikers, and joggers. We invite you to take a stroll, or a ride, or a run in this neat area! Be prepared for a long journey, however, as the one-way distance is about 3 miles in length.

To complete this cache, we suggest you bring:

> A Wherigo-enabled GPS unit
> A camera
> Water/hat for sunny days

You will most likely bike or walk the entire length of the path twice during this Wherigo.

The cache will begin at Linden Street in just south of the Southern State Parkway and continue to the north end of Bethpage State Parkway, where the bike path enters Bethpage State Park.

PLEASE EXERCISE CARE WHILE TRAVELING ON THE PATH, SINCE IT CROSSES THE EXIT/ENTRANCE RAMPS OF THE BETHPAGE STATE PARKWAY IN SEVERAL LOCATIONS!

About the cartridge:
