This cache was set up in the vicinity of Newark Liberty
International Airport, where travelers, nearby hotel guests,
locals, and fellow geocache lovers can trade travel bugs and other
items from around the world.
To access the cache by automobile, enter the access road to
three major hotels from Routes 1&9 South. (Do not park on
Routes 1&9) Travel around the perimeter of the hotels without
entering their parking areas. Cache is located towards the end of
the perimeter road, parallel to Routes 1&9, and within 15 feet
of the huge overhead billboard. (Great for caching at night ... no
flashlight needed with all the light coming off the billboard!)
Cache is a former sherbert ice cream container (yum!), and is
large enough to hold several trade items and travel bugs. Bring a
pencil / pen to sign log.
Please note: I would not recommend walking to this cache
from the airport terminals, as there is a challenging
spaghetti-like system of highways and exit ramps to cross nearby.
It might even be a challenge to drive here if unfamiliar with the
area's roadways. Difficulty level is due to navigating to cache
site. Happy caching!
Congratulations to dkeato on FTF!!!
