The starting point for Orion Rising is N 43 27.776 W 72 42.448 near the General Store. Preferred parking is in the church lot just to the north.
Though just a mile from the nearest road, don't be misled! Allow several hours to find Orion Rising.
This is an offset cache. The GPS will get you to the lakeshore, the cache is within earshot in the woods.
The container is an ammo box painted green with gold stripes and geocache stickers. The GeoPups original stash consisted of an Angel Pin, Schwa stickers from the White Rocks cache, a Playstation Golf game, an antique medicine bottle, VT stickers, a Canadian dollar and a couple of mystery items.
The cache name alludes to the time of year it was established, with clear skies and just before the first real snowfall.
With the hint you just might find it even in deep snow.
