It is always important to remember from where You come from and to where You are going to. This cache is for memory of those fighters who stayed in woods during and after occupation times
The place was founded by some resistance-fighters here in Ehmja village, Martna county in summer of 1945. On 21st of January 1946 6 of them were killed nearby by soviet red army forces. The path to the cache is easy for the 4x4 car around the year and for others during dry season...Otherwise it can be wise to leave your vechicle to the first spot you think is maybe too much for your car :) Be careful when walking around on-site there is covered well in neighborhood. Cache is in plastic box and in easy hideout. As we deal with the memorial place here , please behave yourself and respect memory of these young men. Metsavendade punker rajati siia Ehmja külla Martna vallas 1945. a. suvel. 21. jaanuaril 1946 langes punkri juures haarangu ajal punaväelaste vastu võideldes 6 metsavenda. Teekond aardeni on hea metsatee läbivusega auto olemasolul ja/või kuival aastaajal lihtne, muul juhul on mõistlik jätta auto maanteele või esimese läbimatu koha juurde. Jalutades tasub olla ettevaatlik ja tähelepanelik - punkrikoha läheduses asub kattega kaev. Aare on peidetud plastkarpi ja asub lihtsas peidukas. Kuna tegemist on mälestuspaigaga, palume käituda kohale vastava väärikusega.
