Geocache Description:

A slightly more strenuous walk in the wood, but shouldn't take more than 30 mins round trip. Also possible as a cache and dash - but PLEASE PARK CAREFULLY.

Queenswood Country Park is a great stop off on the A49 between Hereford and Leominster.
At Queenswood Country Park you will find a 67 acre tree collection (arboretum) with over 500 rare and exotic trees in an attractive parkland setting, 103 acres of semi natural ancient woodland designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and Local Nature Reserve, kids park, cafe (closed mondays and in jan and feb), tourist information, gift shop and toilets!
You will find this and two other caches in the Country Park. The authorities are happy with the other two caches here and have allowed us to place another. Thanks to Paul.
This cache is in the quieter northern part of the woods - access is on good paths but is not wheelchair or pushchair accessible all the way. In the winter it will be MUDDY!
Exploring the rest of the park? Look out for some amazing redwoods, a spectacular autumn garden (in the autumn!), a lovely viewpoint and an interesting reading chair.
