Geocache Description:


This is the Second of a series of caches to show how our mindful Government over the years has tried different methods of keeping the deer from crossing the Highway. The Solar Panel attached to the pole was supposed to emit a sound that would scare the deer away from the Highway when they got to close to the pole.NOPE did not work.Thousands of $$$$ were spent on this attempt to keep the deer away. Did Not work. Hundreds of deer were still killed every year. This was at one time one of the Deadliest Stretches of Highway in Saskatchewan for accidents with Deer.

Agree How many times have we driven this road??? Hundreds and Hundreds of times--R did get a deer back on the "Old Highway" near the ball diamonds YEARS ago.
