Geocache Description:

In a small sistema container, easy terrain - but a bit muddy in winter.

Contents - notebook and pencil.

Located on a coastal footpath to the east of Stanley, opposite the wreck of the Afterglow. At low tide the boiler and steam engine can be clearly seen and are all that remain of this wreck. She was built in 1919 along the lines of a Herring Drifter. She came to the Falkland Islands in the early 1920's to police the fur seal colonies, and patroled the islands during the second world war with a Royal Navy crew.
