Geocache Description:

A little diversion to keep you on your toes

My first puzzle cache - I hope you enjoy it.

The following is a true story: I recall a summer eve many years ago – probably in the mid 60s. My father took my brother and me out on the back step after supper. He had a book from the library about binary. He decided that binary was the language of the future and it was vital that we be able to understand the language. Of course it was way over the head of a couple of kids. Counting in our heads to try to figure it out – I don’t know who was more frustrated, him or us. So, good old Dad was way ahead of his time with his binary lesson. Who’d have thought that if you are reading this you have mastered it. Isn’t it wonderful that you have a fancy machine to give you a helping hand.

Binary of course is either the on or off condition of a switch. It is the basis of computer language.
