This is #8 in a series of local geocaches designed to RE-stimulate the weary caching senses you had the first time you went out looking for these little treasures—before they became so common. Each cache is hidden for those of you who want to sharpen your geo-noggins, and don’t want to spend hours on a stark, grueling hunt-n-find (such as those dreaded ivy caches). Each cache name contains 3 initials—an abbreviated description of the TYPE of cache you are looking for (“C” always stands for “Cache”)—and should help you when you get to the cache location. Everything else is pure geo-sense.
No additional hints should be necessary, except this: DON’T EXPECT THE OBVIOUS! Oh, and have fun!
How many millions of trees have served out their post-life usefulness supporting the cause of our increasing technology? And every one of them is cut, shaped, preserved, accessorized, inspected and numbered. But, more importantly, how many of them have had the privilege of serving the geocachers of their community? Well, at least one in this area.

LOCATION: The Oregon Department of Motor Vehicles in Coos Bay has been the launching point for many, many drivers in the area over the past decades of its use.
