Geocache Description:

This is my very first attempt at hiding a cache. I took an idea I saw at a cache outside Baltimore “hidden in plain sight” and made it my own. I hope I have rated it properly, as a 2 simply because you really need to be stealthy near a busy intersection. It is a flat micro so BYOP. Choose your time well. If you like this, just wait, because I have a few more ideas up my sleeve…

When we were children our parents took us on trips that passed this way. The trees and shrubs here were a lot shorter in the late 60’s and gave us a clear view from the road all the way back to where the “castle” sits. We used to ask if Giants lived there. 40 years later I still remember those trips with fondness and hearing “Look kids, here comes the castle!” I now point it out to my children as we drive by…

Can you see the “castle” from here? Its south east of the GZ.

FTF was albsjudge (with a close second by Rentell) - a very nice 1964 Kennedy silver half dollar in memory of those great times!
