Geocache Description:

Trees of Alabama Series: Black Locust - (Robinia pseudoacacia Fabace). Deciduous hardwood found commonly in all regions of Alabama. The heavy wood is used for pulp and railroad ties. Cultivars are available for landscaping. There is a picture of a Black Locust and it's leaves on the cache log. The container is now a pill bottle locatred under a small rock pile. GPS accuracy was only 8.5 ft. There were sefveral Black LOcust Trees here, but they all seem to have burned in the fire. The pile of burned logs are Black Locust logs. Please return cache as found.
