Who ever heard of a pirate’s ship here? Nonetheless, this old ‘rust bucket’ is proof that many ships just like her commonly sailed the amber seas that once covered this area.
Legend says that the notorious pirate Scrappy Angus captained this vessel, which he named, The Divider, because with The Divider, he and his men separated gold treasure from the no-good. Perhaps you might still find some ‘gold’ hidden on board The Divider. But beware! Captain Angus didn’t part with his treasure easily. He was known to have said, “The Divider ain’t pretty, but she’s mine. Take all the treasure you want, you scurvy dogs, but you won’t be paying the piper, you’ll be paying me! Arrrrg!”
Be careful, this may be dangerous. There could be all kinds of vile critters guarding Scrappy’s boat such as snakes, spiders, ticks, and other hidden metal scrap in the grass surrounding the beached Divider. As with any geocache, you geocache at your own risk.
