Geocache Description:

This cache is located just off Highway 52 near the South entrance to the campground, a short ways down the dead end road. You are looking for a magnetic pinkie-sized micro. BYOP Due to the proximity to the campground, on nice summer days muggles could be an issue.

The view upstream from this bridge is locally known as "The Cut" as it is a cut through the limestone bluff here. Dry Run creek has been diverted from its natural course to flow through this man made cut and into the nearby Upper Iowa River. Before this cut and diversion channel, Dry Run Creek, on its much longer natural course through Decorah, would often flood the town. Due to filling in the old creek bed and expansion of the city, the original course is no longer apparent.

***You do not leave the road to get the cache.***  While retrieving this cache you will standing in the middle of bridge looking upstream.
