Geocache Description:

this is a short distance off a maintained road

a car can get within 430 ft. a high clearance 4 by 4 can get within 30 ft. on the backside of the rock formation is where we used to collect candyrock.we think that is a local mame for what looks to us like a high grade of rhyolite. we are not sure there is still any there. there is a lot of other interesting rock in the area. the road to here is subject to flooding. use caution in wet weather.
