Geocache Description:

Reviewing my published caches today was both touching and sad. I joined the military shortly after I hid the latest of them and have since spent the majority of my time away from the things I love most. In fact, I'm deployed as I write this. I won't be able to maintain these caches, as I have been unable for years now but was too busy to consider. I apologize if this detracted from the experience, and I'm sorry for all the ignored maintenance requests. Geocaching is one of my favorite things. I hope that someone who can take these will message me. Otherwise, all of my remaining caches will be decommissioned in the coming weeks as I figure out what to do. Thank you everyone who got me into this mess of a hobby and thank you to everyone who came out to find them.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

As one of DJ's suggested hiding places, I followed the coordinates out here and stopped probably right where you'll stop... in front of what appears to be a big wall of stickers and other such greenery. All I could think was, "What? Is this really what he was thinking?"

So... instead of crawling/tromping/wallowing into that there greenery, I decided to float over the top of it and hide my cache in settings a little less itchy/pokey and somewhere a little more squishy/muddy. Better? I think so.

On another note (the unfortunate one), upon coming out to visit this cache and check up on it, I manged to lock my keys and my cellphone in my car and then walk about 4 miles or so (in the rain) until I found a gas station that was actually open (I must have really been lost). The people working there were nice enough to let me use their pay phone after I got money from their ATM. Saraollivia came and got me after a while and we worked unsuccessfully to unlock my car until we just gave up and I tried to get ahold of someone I knew who could possibly have a slim-jim or something. Great morning, eh? I really hope this cache doesn't do that to any of you out there.
