Huckleberry mountain fire lookout was built in 1939, it was
restored in 1994 and made handicap-accessible. (although it really
isn't anymore)
It is also on the National Historic Lookout Register.
This lookout is currently being used and is manned 24/7
throughout the summer, please take the time to hike the last few
feet and say HI to the ranger on duty and sign the guest book.
If you visit during clear weather remember to bring your camera,
the area where the cache is hidden offers a wonderful view of 3
sisters.
