Lime-blossom tea cache is hidden on the Vasula lime-tree avenue which is 1 mile long and over 100 years old. The avenue is well preserved even today. The planting was arranged by Vasula landlord Nicolaus Stiernhielm.
Lime-tree is an accepted therapeutic tree not only for Estonians, but also for many other nations in Europe (Englishmen, Frenchmen, Germans, Norwegians etc.) Lime-blossom is known in Estonia as a valuable sudorific and body temperature lowering medicine for a long time already. Lime-blossoms have also many more therapeutic qualities.
It is especially pleasant to visit the alley while the lime-trees are blossoming (usually in the end of July) and you can smell the sweet aroma. However, for the tea we suggest to collect the lime-blossoms in a place more distant from roads.
