This multi-cache takes you on and about a small section of the Manawatu River walkway, from Fitzherbert Ave bridge east. This is a great place to walk, but every muggle and his or her dog thinks likewise - so PLEASE BE STEALTHY.
The cache contains a log sheet only. BYO pen. There is parking at S 40 22.339; E 175 37.482. There are 3 stages. The given co-ords take you to Stage 1. At the first two stages you will need to obtain information to take you to the next waypoint.
1. Start here, S 40 22.383; E 175 37. 477. Use the Historic River Control Works Notice to complete these coordinates: S 40 22.4ab; E 175 37. 6cd. For ab take the last 2 digits of the year given in Rank 2. For cd take the 2nd & 3rd digits of the year given in Rank 4. Use these completed coordinates to find the next stage.
