Karma Choeling Buddhist Monastery
We visited this temple today and found it interesting and peaceful. There is no entry fee although you may leave a donation if you so wish.
The grounds contain a temple, stupas and a 25ft high Buddha statue. You can get a map of the grounds and more information at the office there. For opening hours, you can call 09-420-5428.
To work out the correct coordinates

1. Walk down to the Stupas (how many are there?). On your way back, count the trees (not stumps) on your left, up until the fork in the path that takes you up to the Buddha Statue. Add 3. That gives you AB.
2. Go up to visit the temple. On your way back down, count the steps down to the water tank. Subtract 2, then divide by the number of stupas. This will give you C.
Once you have the final coordinates, finding the cache should be easy-peasy. Hope you enjoy your visit to this rather unique corner!
