Geocache Description:

This cache is part of a local series of 12 hides at locations of Northwest Suburban Council Boy Scout Eagle Projects.

Reaching the rank of Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America requires years of dedication and hard work. Over its first 100 years, Scouting has provided millions of hours of service to communities across America.

Cameron T. of Troop 21 noticed the lower portion of this Nature Trail was regularly very wet. He presented an idea of constructing a boardwalk to the Village of North Barrington and the project was completed over two weekends in the fall of 2009.

This trail is in the middle of a very woodsy, North Barrington neighborhood. The streets are not much wider than driveways so please park at the listed parking waypoint.

You are looking for a small, camo'd container about 1/2" x 4". Tree cover messes with reception so your location clue is the container is in a typical wooded hiding location, about 12' off the boardwalk, on the nature side of the trail, not the residence.
